If you’re flying into Santa Rosa, you can land at the Sonoma County, San Francisco, or Oakland Airports. San Francisco or Oakland flights are often cheaper, but you’ll need to take the Groome bus to Santa Rosa (about $50, 2 hours each way) or rent a car.

Driving from San Diego to NorCal takes about 12 hours with stops; we usually break it up with an overnight stay in Lebec or Bakersfield (~$60) to reduce fatigue. From Los Angeles, the drive is shorter and more manageable since most of the traffic is south of LA.
