We have adjusted our initial plans for the ceremony to allow more guests to celebrate with us and make things easier day-of overall. Hopefully, this will be the final change to the itinerary and we appreciate everyone bearing with us.
Please text Lo @ (510) 207-9641 so we can make the guest list as accurate as possible.
Transmitter Park has a pier that extends out into the East River. We will have a permit in place for the ceremony, but the pier is a public space and narrow, so ultimately we are at the mercy of space restrictions and how accommodating the public will be at the moment. Because of these factors, space at the ceremony is first-come first-served following the wedding party.
Originally we requested "cocktail attire" and we regret that choice of words very much since it apparently means very different things to different people/generations. We want everyone to be a little dressed up but this is not a FORMAL event. It will be hot so you do not need to wear a suit jacket or a floor length dress or your fanciest bolo tie unless you want to. We are hoping for a summery, festive vibe, so think linen and floral prints! Bring a (straw?) hat to protect your face from the sun!
The reception will be catered by Threes Brewery and Greenpoint Meat Hook, but we will not be doing a quote-unquote traditional sit-down dinner. Dietary restrictions can be noted in your RSVP.
Threes Brewery's Main Bar at Franklin has a 1,300 square-foot, 100-person capacity. While we are still at the mercy of New York State's COVID-19 restrictions for occupancy, we have the entirety of the space and a side room will have tables and seating set up. Respectfully, please leave your child/dog/emotional baggage with a certified professional.
Should the weather decide not to cooperate with us on the day of, we will be holding the same ceremony indoors at Threes at 5:00 p.m. Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes beforehand if you plan on attending.
Always.
