Our Story

June 2015

We met the summer of 2015. One of Alex's friends wanted my friend and I to meet them at the beach. When we met we had instant chemistry and connection that we couldn't help but go with it. Soon after that, we started to spend time with one another everyday and turned into a relationship. We still talk about how it was the best summer ever. Alex asked me to move in about 1-2 months later. We knew it was a little too soon and I asked if he was sure. He told me he wouldn't want it any other way. We were going back and forth everyday to and from where we both lived, so it would only make sense. In our hearts we knew we made the right decision. As days, weeks and years have gone by we have fallen in love more with one another each and every day. Alex would constantly tell me "I prayed to god everyday to find me a woman, and he found me you" When we are together, we can't help but smile, laugh and be silly. To friends and family we are considered the power couple because of the positive energy we put out and how we interact with one another. We are each other's best friends, soulmates and the love of each other's lives.

The Proposal

July 21 2018

The Proposal: Alex and I would talk about getting married often and of course it was in my head. Like it would be in any woman's head. It was a daily conversation because I had a feeling it was going to happen soon. He also kept joking around with about it. During the week of the engagement, we made plans to go out with some friends to go dancing. My best friend Sara took me to go get my nails done and purchase a new dress. The plan was to goto dinner at our favorite restaurant Villa Roma and to go out after. As we are sitting at dinner, Alex said he forgot his wallet. All of a sudden 40-45 friends and family came out playing "Marry me" by Bruno Mars (which is one of our songs) with balloons and signs. He got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. Everyone screamed and confetti was thrown. I was so shocked and surprised, I think I blacked out. Alex planned this 2 months prior with my two best friends Sara and Ashley. They even went with him to pick out the ring. He had it all planned out and I had no clue. We thank everyone who helped putting the proposal together. Alex and I have been waiting for this day for a log time and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together. Can't wait for everyone to celebrate with us!
