We met at a football game during our Freshman year of high school. Even though Alex was only 14, he was pretty smooth and got my number that night! After that, we texted a lot, spent more time together at school, and hung out more as friends. Soon being just friends turned into something more, and the rest is history!

After 9 years of dating and 2 failed attempts, Alex FINALLY proposed on Memorial Day weekend at his family lake house. We had spent the day out on the water and at sunset Alex took me out on the boat and proposed. I was completely shocked but of course said YES! Little did I know, Alex had the ring for almost a year and had tried to propose two other times, but I was not being cooperative and foiled his plans! Like they say, "third time's a charm!" We cannot wait to celebrate our special day with all of you!
