Thank you for being a part of our big day! We can't wait to get married and celebrate with you! We first crossed paths back in the glory days that are junior high, and while we don't quite remember that fateful first glance, Lauren does recall Alex's last name being mispronounced on the morning announcements. To say that we knew each other might be exaggerating, really we just knew of each other - sharing teachers, mutual friends, and zip codes throughout high school. And then we went our separate ways upon graduating. We didn't see each other again until January of 2021, both having moved back to the aforementioned shared zipcode, when the dating app algorithms put us back on eachother's radar. A few messages and a movie date later and we were both smitten and eager to see eachother again, but trapped inside by a Texas blizzard of all things. And even though Alex refused to trudge through the snow to build a snowman with Lauren, he did secure the second date when the roads cleared, and the deal was pretty much sealed. We took our first trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma for Alex's birthday 6 weeks later where Alex made it official and we've been inseparable ever since. Since that first trip, we've enjoyed the best season of dating, traveling, and raising our two pups together. Alex proposed in December of 2022 during a stop at Horseshoe Bend on a road trip up to camp in Zion National Park.
