What towns are nearby Allen, Mi (the venue) when looking for accomodations?

Answer

Hillsdale, Reading, Jonesville, and Coldwater are small towns that are nearest to the wedding venue.

Should I book a hotel or Airbnb?

Answer

That’s completely up to you and where you feel most comfortable. It is definitely suggested that our guests spending the night after the wedding reception in a nearby town. Feel free to check the app for Airbnb’s nearby, but if you’re more comfortable in a traditional hotel, you have plenty of great options. Rooms are not reserved at the nearby hotels, (since there are so many great options, we didn’t want to limit anyone) so please book asap. What are your Covid protocols?

Answer

EVERYONE is encouraged to be vaccinated with their booster shot by the date of the wedding. We want everyone to feel safe and go home healthy and happy. The venue is in an open air space for optimal ventilation and there is no air conditioning.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

The invitations were mailed to the adults only, but there is an understanding that some guests may need to bring their kids (particularly since the venue is out of town), and that is OK! Kylie and Alex (and their parents) want everyone to feel welcome! Please leave a note in your RSVP and we will save them a seat.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Kylie and Alex are looking forward to all the formal wedding traditions, including having a formal attire event. However, the wedding will take place (weather permitting) outdoors. The dinner and reception are immediately following and inside a gorgeous open air wedding barn (NO AIR CONDITIONING). Ladies, stilettos are not recommended, however, come as fancy or as casual as as you feel comfortable.

What date is the bridal shower?

We are calling it the “BRUNCH WITH THE BRIDE” and it will be in Toledo, OH and is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2022. The address is: 1447 N Summit St, Toledo, OH 43604 from 11am-2pm. All are gals welcome.

Answer

We appreciate everyone's generosity and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you. We have added some fun things to this ZOLA site, under "registry". We have also added a few items to a Bed Bath and Beyond registry in case anyone would rather ship in brick/mortar store.
