Maid of Honor
Melissa and I went to High School together and reconnected through our mutual small business ownership. She has since become like a sister to Kyle and me, and is one of my most trusted friends. One of the most dependable, hard working, honest and big-hearted humans I've been fortunate enough to call a best friend.
Bridesmaid
In 2000, right after we moved to San Diego I saw her playing down the street. I mustered up the courage to ask her and her sister to play, I'm so glad I did. 17 years later and she is still my tribe. Some of my most cherished childhood memories are barefoot summers spent with Marlene running a muck in Sky Mesa Ranch!
Bridesmaid
We met when I was in college and was dating her close guy friend. He sucked but she didn't. We both decided to ditch the dude and have been close friends ever since! We shared a home in Hillcrest during Barrett's first two years of life, and Shannon was always my steady rock and guiding voice during some of the toughest times in life.
Bridesmaid
Shannon introduced me to Mari (they're sister-in-laws), and I am forever grateful she did. If a person could be your spirit animal, mine would be Marisol. Her poetry is some of my most treasured belongings. Not only has she enriched my life, but Marisol and her lovely mother took such great care of Barrett at their daycare facility when he was just 9 months till he was 2 and a half!
Bridesmaid
We also went to High School together and reconnected in our college years. Brit has been many things in my life: hairstylist, best friend, babysitter, tattoo artist (sorry dad), travel companion, dance partner, roommate, Barrett's favorite Auntie, fellow shopaholic, the list goes on. Brit's cat's name (Bowie) was one of Bear's first words spoken. Her laugh is my very favorite.
Bridesmaid
Whitney has been by my side since middle school. Her family lived next door to my parents Alpine house and we were practically siblings! I have never met someone as thoughtful as Whit, she never ever forgets a birthday or special occasion and is always there when I call or ask her to come on some crazy adventure around San Diego, a true ride or die girl.
Best Man
Because of him, I met Alex! I always call his kids my nephews, and that's because Harry is family. We have been like brothers since we were 16 years old. The Achenbach's have been there for me through a lot and I am lucky to have a lifelong friend like Harry.
Best Man
We met in Highschool, at Valhalla. He was friends with my brother and we reconnected and became fast friends a few years later. We ended up being roommates for years and there was never a dull moment living with him. That's the g rated version of our college days anyway. Another friend I truly consider family.
Groomsman
My son Barrett has been in my life for 4 years now, that day he called me "Dad" changed my life forever. He is a huge part of who I am and the person I've become. He's inspired me to be a better person and has challenged me to be the best parent I can be.
Groomsman
My older brother has always been someone to look up to, I didn't always follow his example when we were growing up but I could have learned a lot from him if I did. We weren't alway close but after the loss of our brother Kevin, we made a point to strengthen that bond. He has always been there for me and I am so glad to have him be apart of my life.
Groomsman
Nick and I met in college, he lived next door to Anthony and I. We've known each other for about 10 years now. He's one of my few friends I can call up to wrench on a car and have a few beers with. I can always count on having a good laugh when he's around, sometimes at his own expense. He's someone I can call a brother as well.
Groomsman
I met Reid through Harry we've known each other almost as long. Reid is an awesome friend to have around, he's always laughing and making the people around him laugh. I'm glad to call him family.
