Southwest Florida International Airport
Your best bet is to fly into RSW - Southwest and Breeze offer great options. There are shuttle services available, rental cars, or an easy Uber/Lyft to Marco Island. The ride is about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. A car is usually not needed once you're on the island - there are golf cart and bike rentals, Uber/Lyft, and the local golf cart taxi.

Punta Gorda Airport
Allegiant flies from Columbus into Punta Gorda which is a little further to Marco Island, about an hour and 20 minutes.
