Downtown Naperville
Our hotel block is in downtown Naperville, which is a super fun town to explore! Take a stroll along the river walk, pop into a few shops, fuel up at the Starbucks Reserve, and grab a bite to eat. Some recommendations are: La Sorella di Francesca (Italian), SixtyFour (wine bar), Meson Sabika (tapas), Vasili’s (Mediterranean), Catch 35 (steak/seafood), and Frankie’s Blue Room/Features (bar & grill).
Downtown Wheaton
This is near the venue and where the bride grew up! It’s a sweet town to walk around, and has some great restaurants. Alex’s favorite is Gia Mia. Don’t miss the Little Popcorn Store and it’s iconic red-striped awning!
The Morton Arboretum
Lovely arboretum near Naperville/Wheaton to get some fresh air. Fun fact: the bride’s mom volunteers here!
Deep Dish Pizza
The big rivalry is between Lou Malnati's and Giordano's. These two can be found both in Chicago and in the suburbs
Chicago Architecture Boat Tour
Highly recommend if you have time to go downtown!
