Kitt and Al met for the first time at church years ago in passing. A mutual friend introduced them. Alex was going to a Lynyrd Skynyrd show later that night, and Kitt claims his eyes were extremely wide when they shook hands. He must have been super pumped to meet Kitt and also pumped to hear some Free Bird later. A couple years later, a mutual friend invited them both to a game night with a bunch of people neither of them knew very well. A nightmare for them both. Some pleasant conversation happened during the game night and they bonded over their distaste for game nights. Over the next number of weeks, a relationship grew through conversations after church service. A couple of lunch dates later things really started to heat up. After some fun days of drinking beer and playing sports, the fates were basically sealed.

New Year's Day, 2023 was the day of proposal.
