You can't go wrong with a trip to the Beach.  We prefer this location (which is south of Vero Beach in Fort Piece), but the beaches in Vero are just as lovely.

Fun local winery with wine-tastings and live music every Saturday and Sunday.

Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery

Who doesn't love a good outlet center? (mind you, many of the spots are vacant thanks to Jeff Bezos).

Vero Beach Outlets

We almost had our wedding here, but opted for a little more comfort and climate control.  They have the largest Bonsai collection in the United States.

Heathcote Botanical Gardens

Contemporary architecture and lots of wealthy patrons make this a classy spot to take in some American and International artwork.
