Let's knot and say we did!

Our story starts the way all good love stories do. Facilities Construction Manager (Alex) meets Workplace Manager (Kimi) while sprinting to stop an overflowing bathroom in the Tesla lobby. Sounds like fertile breeding ground for romance, right? Sparks flew. From meeting at the office to our first date at The Office, we knew this was going to turn into something special.

Rain...beanies...wet hair...wobbly bridge suspended 230' in the air over a rushing river...the perfect setting for an extreme proposal! Alex popped the question in the middle of the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, and Kimi said YES high up in the trees. We celebrated with fish tacos and craft beers followed by a road trip to our ski lodge in Whistler - the perfect day to mark the beginning of rest of our lives. We can't wait to celebrate with you soon!

As you know, we tried our little hearts out to make a traditional wedding happen. It was our dream to celebrate our marriage surrounded by family and friends. However, Covid had other plans! We decided to elope to Montana and have an intimate ceremony near Glacier National Park, just the two of us. While it's not what we originally had in mind, we feel peaceful and excited to tie the knot in a safe and special way. We hope to throw an anniversary party in the next couple of years when we can gather comfortably again! Thank you all for your love and support.
