We knew each other in high school, however did not talk much as we were in different social circles. Once out of school, we were set up by Kerrigan’s cousin Kendall and Alex’s friend Tyler. The rest is history!

Kerrigan was tricked by her cousin Kendall who had asked for cousin pictures of just her and Kerrigan just a week before Alex wanted to propose. Kerrigan fell for it and thought nothing of it and agreed to do pictures with the caveat that Alex could be in a couple too. The morning of the proposal Alex participated in the Bay State Marathon. Unfortunately it was not the outcome he was hoping for but he kept on going and Kerrigan and his family was so proud of him. That evening, Kerrigan and Alex got ready for pictures. On the way to the spot where cousin pictures were supposed to happen, Kendall called and said we had to switch locations because people were in the spot. So we went to Nutting Road and Kerrigan took off her glasses (which she’s blind in case you didn’t know without her glasses) and began walking to look for Kendall as she was already there. Alex got the ring from the backseat of the truck while Kerrigan was away looking for Kendall. Kerrigan walked right by the proposal set up and everything and did not notice it. Alex then got her to the general vacuity of the pumpkin that said “marry me?” On it. Kerrigan looked the pumpkin and then turned around to Alex being on one knee. He asked “so will you?” And Kerrigan yelled “yes. What Alex?!” And the rest is history!
