FAQs

If you have any other questions than what we've listed here, please contact my mom, Cheryl, at 248-496-2098 or myself at 248-701-0644.
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. Women can wear a floor-length dress, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Men can wear a suit. Remember to dress for the weather!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

With current COVID-19 guidelines, both the ceremony and reception will be held outside. We're hoping to move the reception inside if possible. Stay tuned - your safety is our top priority!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a brief cocktail hour with drinks and horderves, then head into the reception for dinner and dancing!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

We will have a valet service to assist with parking that is provided by the venue.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love the little ones, we ask that only those 13-years-old and older attend the wedding. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home to celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to restrictions with COVID-19, we ask that you only bring a date if you're married or in a long-term relationship. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know your meal preference, chicken/fish or veggies, and any diet restrictions in your RSVP.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that individuals try to stay off their phones during the ceremony. The memories our photographer is capturing will look a lot nicer without all the screens in the shot. Feel free to go crazy at the reception!

Question

How does COVID-19 affect the wedding?

Answer

While the situation is still changing, as of now we would like everyone wear a mask and to socially distance themselves as necessary. We are keeping up with new information we receive regarding the virus and will alter the wedding proceedings as need-be. We want to ensure the safety of all who attend our special day.
