Sumo Shack
Alex and I go once per week to this restaurant. Alex gets a mac and cheese smash burger and Kelly gets a pimento smash burger and they will split chicken philly fries
Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse
Alex always gets a large chicken philly, while Kelly rotates between a flatbread, chorizo burger, and half rack of ribs. Alex's grandmother, Meme, would get grilled chicken with a vegetable medley side. Definitely have to pair your meal with a side of sweet potato fries and honey mustard!
Burrito Loco Mexican Restaurant
Alex usually gets a fajita chicken quesadilla, and Kelly will get chicken americano tacos. If they are feeling like splurging, they will split a birria pizza as an extra special treat.
Rio 150 Mexican Restaurant - Mill One
This place has incredible lunch specials. There are two locations, one in downtown mooresville and one off of hwy 150. Both usually have a little bit of a wait, but as you will see, it is well worth it! Alex and Kelly have both tried many items on the menu, and have loved it all! If you are looking for an extra extra large flaming margarita, you are in the right place!!
PDQ Cornelius: Tenders
This place has tenders grilled to perfection or fried until golden brown. Their sides are amazing and if you have enough room for dessert, an oreo milkshake is to die for!

Havana 33
Right on the water, this place is great for brunch or dinner! Alex usually gets arroz con pollo with sweet plantains and Kelly gets a cubano, and they will split them.
Phoenix Thai & Japanese Restaurant
Alex has done the owner's brakes and multiple employee's brakes in their parking lot. The food is exceptional, however the service is slow, so we recommend taking it to go or be ready to wait a little for your food. This is another place that is well worth the wait!!
BaoBao: Dim Sum & Chinese Cuisine
The soup dumplings and the orange chicken here are incredible. Any time Alex and Kelly are in the area and are trying to figure out where to go, all Kelly has to do is give Alex the look, and he knows exactly what she wants.
The Blue Parrot Grill
Alex's favorite is the coconut shrimp, and Kelly's favorite is a crab cake sandwich with pasta salad. This waterside restaurant has a dock, which we recommend our renters to come to. It has large umbrellas and fans to keep everyone comfortable since it is outdoor seating only.
Andy's Frozen Custard
Alex's go-to is a double double malt shake with oreo and Kelly loves a strawberry oreo shake!
Cook Out
Cookout is one of our favorite fast food restaurants! They have over 40 different milkshake flavors, and you can customize your cookout tray to your liking with their many sides!
