When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Semi-Formal- The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors (on grass), so we recommend footwear accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive between 5:15–5:45 PM. The ceremony will begin shortly after guests are seated. Champagne and music will be available upon arrival.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is no parking at the Williams Home. Guests are kindly asked to park at the church across the street, Horseshoe Drive Methodist Church, or the Holiday Inn. We will have shuttles running from both the Church and the Hotel from 5pm-11pm. What time do shuttles start running?

Answer

Shuttle service will begin at 5:00 PM, running to and from the Holiday Inn and Church parking lot before the ceremony and during/after the reception.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Alexandria – Downtown, which is located directly across the street from the Hotel Bentley. Hotel block details can be found on the Travel page.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes — the ceremony and reception will both take place at the Williams Family Backyard.

What if my plans change?

Answer

No worries at all — plans change. Just update your RSVP or let us know so we can plan accordingly.
