Breath taking scenery. Great place to hike, grab souvenirs and take some great photos.
Boxing with Love
Stop by the gym and see where our love story began. Conveniently located inside of the Chapel Hills Mall if you're looking to do some shopping while you're in the area.
Manitou Springs
Our first date with Bensyn was to the Penny Arcade. Located in a cute little touristy town right outside of Colorado Springs. Lots of unique shopping and restaurants there as well.
Pikes Peak Summit
We hiked to the top in July 2023 but strongly recommend you take the Cog Railway or drive Pikes Peak Highway to the top. You get to the donuts much faster those ways!
Mountain View Cafe and Catering
All part of the love story. Alex would work remotely at the Cafe at least once a week when we first started dating. Sometimes twice when the internet conveniently didn't work at her house.
Black Forest Section 16
Looking to hike while you're in the area? This is a great 4 mile loop not far from where we live. Alex invited me to run here with her when we first started talking. I, of course, said yes but only made it 3 minutes in before the run turned into a walk.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
If you like zoos, we have one of the best in the country! Reservations are required so be sure to get your tickets in advance.
