Attire: What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal/cocktail attire. For women, this may include a cocktail dress, midi dress, dressy jumpsuit, or an elegant maxi dress. Dress lengths can range from above the knee to floor length. For men, a suit, sport coat with dress pants, or a dress shirt and tie are all great options. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate with us!

Are children invited to the wedding?

We love your kids, but we've decided to keep our wedding and reception adults-only. Thank you for understanding, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones have been extended to select guests and will be noted on the invitation and RSVP. If your invitation does not include a guest, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Travel & Accommodations

Answer

For your convenience, we have reserved a room block at Hotel Phillips for our wedding weekend. We encourage guests to book their accommodations early to take advantage of the room block and ensure availability. Information regarding booking, room rates, and reservation deadlines can be found below. Hotel Phillips is conveniently located along the KC Streetcar line, making it easy to explore downtown Kansas City throughout your stay. The streetcar stop is also just a short walk from La Villa, allowing guests to easily travel between the hotel, venue, and other downtown attractions.
