FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We need a complete list of attendees by May 1, 2026. Unfortunately, if you were to RSVP after that day, we wouldn't be able to include you in our wedding. Since everyone invited means so much to us, we'd be very sad if you were unable to attend.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests follow a formal dress code. For example, ladies are welcome to wear maxi or midi dresses and gentlemen can wear suits of any color. The ceremony is outside in late June, so please keep the heat in mind when selecting your attire.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your RSVP will indicate if you have a plus one. We ask that you do not bring one if it has not been specified on your invitation, as we will be unable to seat, feed, or otherwise accommodate them.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love you and your children, we kindly ask that children under 12 not attend.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot at the Broadway Gate (2683 Broadway Street) of the Toledo Zoo. If that lot is full at the time of your arrival, there is more parking at the Anthony Wayne Trail Parking Lot (2 Hippo Way). We'd recommend the Broadway Gate, if possible, as it is closer to the ceremony and reception location. We have also arranged for transportation to and from the hotel.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

We have been informed by the venue that cars MAY NOT be left in the parking lots overnight. There will be an open bar at the reception, so we ask that everyone plan accordingly and SAFELY. We have also arranged for transportation between the zoo and the hotel.
