Nashville is 47 minutes east of Dickson. There is plenty to do in Nashville from nightlife to food to live country music. In Nashville you can also visit historic sites such as the Grand Ole Opry.
Dickson is also home to Montgomery Bell State Park. The park covers 3,782 acres (1,531 ha) and its official elevation is 758 feet. The park, named for iron industrialist Montgomery Bell, is known as the birthplace of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
