For those that don't know, we have known each other our ENTIRE lives, and yes, this is pretty much one of those cliche love stories. Our parents went to college together, had us 6 months a part, and said we would grow up and get married one day. We actually couldn't stand one another as kids, and it wasn't until 4 years ago we reconnected through social media on Alex's 25th birthday. Now look at us! Crazy how things work out and we're so happy and blessed they did!

Kacy originally planned to propose in Hawaii but.. ya know, covid. He had to improvise and came up with the most crazy, bold, spontaneous, and romantic proposal. He told Alex that he had a surprise date setup, and as they were driving through the country, Alex thought she had it figured out. She had been begging to go horseback riding for the longest, and naturally assumed they would be as they rode through the country (Alex-"oh, I know what we're doing"). On the next turn, Alex was kindly greeted by a huge SPACELAND SKYDIVING sign and immediately wanted to go back home. After a few reassuring moments in the parking lot, she was on board! As they were approaching 14,000 ft in the air, Alex was terrified. Kacy was first up, and as he was about to jump with the plane door open, he popped the question! After a moment of confusion and while looking at Kacy hanging half-way outside the plane, she said YES! Kacy jumped and Alex jumped right behind him. As Alex landed on the ground, Kacy was waiting on one knee and the tears started rolling in. Oh yeah, she said YES again!
