Question

 Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

There are many hotels located near our venue. We specifically reached out to two nearby hotels and they provided a discounted rate for our wedding. Please see the "travel" page.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is glam! We encourage you to go all out (but also remembering you'll be dancing a lot)

Can I wear white? Can I wear black?

Answer

Yes to both! Wear whatever you want. We are not traditional.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget so our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation - thank you!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same venue! The 101, located at 101 S. Jackson Street, Seattle, WA 98104

The ceremony and reception will be indoors

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Rainy and cold. Bring a jacket, we have coat racks!

 When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Please RSVP through this website by October 4, 2019. The link to RSVP is located at the top of this page. Thank you for accommodating an early RSVP deadline!

Answer

We are registered through Zola. A link to our registry is provided at the top of this website.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby.  Guests will head straight to the cocktail hour where we will be serving appetizers and drinks.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Yes, our theme is Starfall! Think glitter and glam night sky.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. RSVP link is at the top of this page.

 How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue is conveniently located in downtown Seattle. You can access the venue from the International District Station on the light rail; by metro bus; Lyft; or by car (please have a designated driver). Parking is available at your own expense at the nearby Embassy Suites Hotel. Street parking is also available but limited.

 What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive half an hour before the start of the ceremony. Please keep in mind traffic and parking.

 Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is NOT provided at the venue. Parking is available at your own expense at Embassy Suites hotel, located a few blocks away from the venue. Street parking may be available as well. Our venue is easily accessible by light rail and bus as well, or you can take a Lyft.

 Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

 Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

Smoking is allowed outside, at least 25' from any doorway. Please dispose of cigarette butts as we will be fined for any littering around the venue.

 Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will have plenty of food and drinks (appetizers, full dinner, and dessert) - come hungry!

 Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Vegetarian options will be available, as well as some vegan. Our menu does not accommodate those who are GF, have severe allergies, or require Kosher or Halal. Please contact us if this will be an issue for you!

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No, please arrange your own transportation

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

The centerpieces are rental items. Please do not take them home.

Question

 Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #WhenTheStarsAlign2020 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
