The Battery
During the Civil War, the Confederate army mounted cannons in the Battery, at the southernmost point of Charleston peninsula, to fortify the city against Union attack.

Patriots Point Maritime Museum and USS Yorktown
USS Yorktown is one of 24 Essex-class aircraft carriers built during World War II for the United States Navy. The ship has now been turned into a museum.
