Alex: We met at our officiant's (Danielle's) birthday party. I was new to Las Vegas, and didn't really know anybody, and Dani sent out an invitation to our workplace team. She marked everyone else as "optional" but me as "required", and being as new as I was I thought, "darn, now I have to go!" So I went, and I was the first one there, as usual. I sat down and as people started to trickle in, Jordan walked through the door with his motorcycle helmet in hand and I remember thinking "Wow. Please sit next to me!" and he did! We talked all night and really clicked, but he never asked for my number. The next day at work, Dani came up to my desk at 8am and says "Hey, do you remember Jordan, that guy you sat next to at my party? Well he wants to know if he can have your number." And immediately my heart lit up. We set a first date, September 3rd, 2021, and we haven't spent more than a couple days apart since then! Jordan: When I first laid eyes on the love of my life, I knew it was destined to be. Her big, bright, beautiful ocean-blue eyes captured my soul in a way I hadn't felt in many years. I had no choice but to sit next to this goddess to know if these feelings were true. "Alas", I said to myself. "I have found the one I want to spend the rest of my days with". So yeah, at the end of the night, I fumbled asking her for her number so I had Dani do it for me when she saw her at work. 10/10 would meet the love of my life again.

I proposed to my love right in the morning of our anniversary. Why did I do this you ask? She knew it was coming because she couldn't have anything kept from her and I couldn't lie to her. She also had a panic attack the night before because I had an entire day planned out and she didn't know what was going to happen. So to make sure she had the best day possible, I asked her to marry me as I woke her up! To make up for this, I took her to a nice breakfast spot nearby. Once we were full of coffee and eggs I took her to one of her favorite places, Goodwill! This is where we got our wonderful outfits for our engagement photos. It was a fantastic day of love and memories to last a lifetime.
