Garden Party Attire: whimsical, dressy, and designed to be worn outdoors. It typically falls somewhere between a semi-formal dress code and cocktail attire, with breezy silhouettes and pastel colors. Please keep in mind that the entirety of this event is outside. Prepare for warmer weather and possibly wind as we are on the water. Men: linen pants, soft-colored suits, and white or pastel button-down shirts; ties are not necessary. No jeans or sandals. Women: Mid or full length dress, open-toe shoes.
We ask that guests arrive at La Venture Grove by 3:00 pm so they have time to get their photo taken and make their way to their seats.
Although we adore your children, to allow all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and enjoy themselves, we’ve elected to make our wedding a child-free event.
Yes, due to our chosen scenic venue, getting a rideshare will be difficult at the end of the night. After the reception, we have a bus from the venue to St. John's Town Center. If you are not staying in the Town Center area, rideshare will be available from the bus drop-off point.
Yes! There is parking at the venue, and you are welcome to leave your car there overnight (there is no cost) if you elect to take the post-wedding shuttle to St. John's Town Center.
Yes! We recommend staying you stay in St. John's Town Center. Tru by Hilton would be our pick, but we also have hotel blocks at the Hyatt, Holiday Inn Express, and AC Marriott. After the reception, the post-wedding shuttle will be going to St. John's Town Center. There are many Airbnbs available in the area as well.
