Joey and I's story all started with a message on Bumble. One night, I saw someone who looked sweet, fun, and cute, so I took a leap and messaged him. That leap turned into a first date at a sushi spot in Old Town Scottsdale. What we thought would be a short dinner turned into three hours of nonstop conversation. Even though he gave me a side hug at the end (yes, really), he texted me later that night to make sure I got home safe. We had our second date that same week. Then a third. From there, we were pretty much inseparable. A few months into us dating, I found out I’d gotten into law school in New York. I told Joey I was moving and asked if he wanted to come with me. He said yes. So, we packed up our lives and moved to NYC , ready to take on the City together! We navigated the early years of our relationship in a brand-new city, made it through the lockdowns during COVID, and supported each other through long work hours, new jobs, and big dreams. I took on three difficult but rewarding years of law school while Joey grew into an incredible career in media. We've built a life in New York — full of concerts, comedy shows, sushi dates, running around the city, and making amazing friendships along the way. After over six years together, Joey proposed in one of our favorite places: Central Park! Now, we’re ready for the next chapter: saying "I do" and continuing to build the life we've always dreamed of together. We're so excited to share this special day with the people we love most.
