The best maid of honor a girl could ask for, Alex and Erica have been best friends for the last 15 years! From Barbie sleep overs, sweet 16 parties, European vacations, hours worth of text messages and phone calls, to walking down the aisle, they have been together for it all. She is a rock star assistant principal, best friend, and the sister Alex always wanted. A fun fact about Erica is she has been a part of 5 different wedding parties in the last 3 years, but Alex and Joe's is definitely going to be her favorite.
Zach Holzem
Best Man
Zach and Joe met at birth, when Joe was born 2 minutes after Zach. When Joe and Alex got engaged, there was zero doubt that Zach was the first and best choice as Joe's best man. Like any siblings, they may of had their fair share of childhood fights and competitions. These days, they like to compete across video games and pizza dinners. Their favorite past time is arguing over the most recent Packers game. In fact, Zach's first tattoo is matching with Joe for the teams founding year.
Sophie Shahbazi
Bridesmaid
Sophie and Alex met in 2016 as little theater freshman at Viterbo University. With both families hours away, they quickly learned they had family within each other. When Sophie isn't singing and acting in live musicals, she rocks it at a Chicago salon. Together, Sophie and Alex love to do puzzles with a good glass of wine, go on coffee dates, and facetime for hours at a time. Sophie can always be counted on to brighten a room and be the best listener a bride could want.
Emily Kolbe
Groomswoman
Emily and Joe have been best friends for the last 8 years, starting when they worked together at a dog daycare. All that time has included lots of dog wrangling, snap chat rants to each other, and Emily's wedding where Joe served as her bride's boy! (Pictured above) Now a days, she is a medical researcher, but her and Joe still get together to talk about her 3 dogs. A fun fact about Emily is she knew Alex was the one for Joe the first time she met Alex, and the rest is history!
