Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

It's a Formal Garden Party! So preference for long formal gowns/full length dresses for the girls and a dark suit (tux if you're so inclined) for the guys. Our colors are pale yellows, greens, blues and pinks so dresses of any color are accepted except white obviously :) . Florals are always encouraged since it is a garden party!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

July 1st! We need to give our vendors a total headcount, so please RSVP by then! Unfortunately, if we don’t receive a reply by then, we will have to assume no. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest(s) formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online or by mailing in the RSVP card sent with the invitation.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this is strictly an adults-only occasion with the exception to those that were formally invited.

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "Not Attending" so that we can plan accordingly. If you RSVP as a "Yes", and something unforeseen occurs and you cannot make it, please contact Alex or Jimmy directly to let them know! Thank you.

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "No". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the same location. 20 Glen Street Dover, MA 02030

Is there transportation provided from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

If you reserved a room through the room block, there will be a $50 Uber voucher provided in your welcome bag that you will receive at the front desk. One voucher per Room will be provided. This can only be used to and from the Verve Hotel to the Connors Center.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time, to find parking and your seat. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive beginning at 4:30pm. Please do not arrive any later than 4:55pm as you will not be able to enter the ceremony, as it begins at 5pm. Please click the "Schedule" tab for more information on the day of itinerary!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

There is parking right at the venue, you will see the lot as you pull into the property.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Outdoor! The ceremony and reception will take place outside, with the reception being tented. The cocktail hour will have both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer/videographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you all.

What are my reception dinner options?

Answer

We are offering your choice of a beef and chicken dish. We will accommodate any food allergies or diet restrictions, please notate those during the RSVP process.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you!

Could you give me the link to the wedding registry?

Answer

You can view our registry here on our site! At the top of the page, click the "Registry" tab and it will bring you to our links!

Question

Where should we bring/send our gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 460 Main Street, Newington, CT 06111. A wedding card table will also be at our reception.
