October 2015 - Jill was a freshman at UB, Alex was a junior. There was going to be a party at one of the track houses, and our friends told Jill that Alex would be there and that he wanted to talk to her. That night, Alex came up to Jill at the party and told her she looked beautiful (and then walked away) Jill decided to DM Alex the next day, then they went on their first date on October 15th, 2015. December 29th, 2015 - we met up in New York City while we were both home for winter break. We went to Rockefeller Center to see the tree, eat pizza, and walk around. At the end of the night, we headed to Penn Station to catch our trains. Before we said goodbye, Alex asked Jill to be his girlfriend. July 30th, 2022 - After nearly 7 years of dating, growing, maturing, and finding ourselves, we got engaged. We had planned to go on a camping trip with just us and Kora. That night, we were woken up by coyotes howling right near our tent, and ended up sitting, laughing, and talking in the car until day light. That morning, Alex asked Jill to go on a walk down to the stream near our campsite, which is where he proposed. August 4th, 2023 - FINALLY, our wedding day.
