Jessica is a free-spirited girl. Living in Utah all her life, she's loved to be outdoors since she was little. She's been barefoot outside for as long as she can remember, and has tracked more mud through the house as a kid than their dog did, much to her parents' dismay. Jessica loves to laugh, crack jokes, and is always planning a new adventure! She will do anything to make other people smile, loves music, and can't wait to take Alex kayaking! Pray for him! ;)

Alex is a wonderful man. He's a one-in-a-million kind of guy, and you're lucky to know him! Raised by his parents, he grew up to be fun-loving, but also very kind and gentle. Alex loves to laugh and enjoy life, and is always up for a good time! He makes a ton of dad jokes, enjoys the occasional Haribo gummy, and loves to cook, read, and play games of all types... especially video games! He plans to teach Jessica, who has a lot of catching up to do!
Becca van Oene
Maid of Honor
Always keeping everyone laughing, Becca and Jessica have been friends for awhile. Spamming each other with reels, making up bingo cards for life's funny events, and talking and laughing through daily events, Jessica is grateful for Becca's constant friendship. She's adopted more of Becca's lingo than anyone on the planet, and is 100% fine with that. ;) Becca is the reason Alex and Jessica met, and has been the best of friends to both. Becca, you are a delight!
Drew Sumsion
Best Man
Drew is Alex's twin brother from another mother! The two first met when they were just a few hours old at Lakeview Hospital and were reunited in elementary school. They have since gone on to the same junior high, high school, and even on to Japan to serve their missions! Alex was honored to be Drew's best man for his wedding and is again honored that Drew accepted to be his!
Rachel Madsen
Matron of Honor
Rachel is Jessica's sister, but she's lucky to also consider Jessica her friend. ;) Just kidding... Jessica considers Rachel to be her friend, and is incredibly blessed. Rachel has always been someone Jess can turn to for support and direction, and is grateful for the steadiness and reassurance that comes from her big sister.
Nate Johnson

Alex has never had a brother and was elated when Nate married Toni, his sister. Alex not only met his match when it came to card games like Pokemon and Magic the Gathering, but also an example of hard work, patience, and determination. Alex has learned a lot from the way that Nate treats Toni and hopes to do the same for Jessica.
Katelyn Ericksen

Katelyn is Jessica's little sister. From sharing friend groups all throughout school, for which Jessica is grateful, to sharing friend groups now, Katelyn has always been a part of the adventures and fun. Much like her older sister, Katelyn has been someone to laugh and cry with, and Jessica loves spending time with her.
Carson Warnick

To this day, Alex has not known anyone else who is into nearly all the same nerdy hobbies he has. When he met Carson in high school, they clicked almost instantly. To the point in which Alex doesn't actually remember how he met Carson, just that they vibed and have been buds ever since.
Toni Johnson

Toni is Alex's sister, and Jessica's soon-to-be sister-in-law! Jessica couldn't have asked for a better one. Toni is kind, caring, and fun, and Jessica admires the way Toni calmly handles everything. She is the best big sister to Alex, and Jessica promises to help Toni hide the monkey forever. ;)

Did we mention that Alex has another twin? And he's a Ginger! R. Luke Haueter was also born on the same day as Alex and Drew! After trauma bonding over 7th grade Chinese class, Luke and Alex forged a brotherhood in theater classes, D&D games, and general tomfoolery.

Beck and Jessica have been friends for a couple of years. From late night Maverick runs to playing Guess Who on the driveway, Jessica has appreciated Beck's sense of humor and optimistic outlook on life. She's grateful for the laughter and excitement, and absolutely loves Beck's 2am baking posts on Facebook.

Alex has yet to meet another one of his cousins, let alone people, who have as much passion for coding and tech as his cousin John. Growing up with shared nerdy interests, Alex has always appreciated how kind and chill John has been to him.

Holly is the sweetest person Jessica has had the privilege of meeting. Her history knowledge is unmatched, and she has fantastic one-liners! An integral part of the friend group, Holly keeps everyone on their toes and makes sure everyone has a good time. Jessica is grateful to consider Holly her friend!

Matthew is the cousin that Alex has known the longest! Basically growing up together, Alex is grateful to Matthew for being a friend throughout the years, hanging out at family gatherings, and introducing him to hobbies that Alex still enjoys now.

Jessica was fortunate enough to live in Layton when Katelyn moved there. Katelyn's spunky and extroverted personality made Jessica feel right at home, and she's grateful for her friendship. From the bonfires to stargazing, camping to eclipses, and everything in between (and all across the state!) there have been so many fun times shared and memories made.

Last but not least, Nathan is Alex's youngest cousin. Alex has really enjoyed their conversation about the latest games, custom mechanical keyboards, Gundam, and for Nathan's patience while Alex learned how VR works.
Vern and Jennifer Ericksen

Vern and Jennifer Ericksen have been incredible parents to Jessica. Their love and support have enabled her to do whatever she puts her mind to, and she is so grateful for their guidance and wisdom. Fun-loving and adventure seeking, they instilled a sense of excitement-seeking in their children. Raising their kids in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, they've shown their testimony through their words and actions. Their dedication to the gospel is what has kept Jessica on the path that led to meeting Alex, and she hopes to become like her parents someday. Jessica thinks her parents are awesome, and wants them to know that she loves them and is grateful for them!

Alex is grateful to have been raised by his awesome parents. They have been sure to raise him with good principles and a foundation in living the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has also gained from them his appreciation for good food, from their favorite Chinese hole-in-the-walls to Texas barbecue food trucks and everything in between, along with a love for cooking from both parents. They have always supported him in his schooling, mission, and other hobbies and activities. It was a privilege for Alex to expect them at his concerts, plays, and important life events and milestones. Alex and Jessica, like Toni and Nate before them, are grateful that they are supportive of this next step in the journey.
