What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual. This will be an outdoor wedding and we don't know how hot or cool it will be. We will update the website with predicted temperatures as the event draws near.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We adore children, and you may see a few at our wedding! However, at this time, we are limiting children to family only, unless otherwise indicated. For those bringing little ones, the venue does have a small play area, but please note that neither the venue nor the couple can be responsible for any injuries. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside and the reception will be open-air. We will update you on the temperature and any unexpected weather conditions as they arise.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Have you met our family? Of course, there will be an open bar! More information to come.

Can I take and post pictures and videos during the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you put your phones away and do not take pictures or videos during the ceremony. Fair warning, if you are photographed holding your phone during the ceremony, you will be photoshopped to be holding a live chicken instead of your phone. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take them out and document the party. We will also have an amazing photographer taking tons of pictures throughout the ceremony and reception.

What food options will be provided?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will host a cocktail hour where hors d'oeuvres will be passed around while the bridal party finishes taking photos. The receptioon food will be buffet style with an array of cajun favorites.
