Here are some hikes around Missoula and in Glacier National Park. PLEASE do thorough research on how to get there, things to bring, and general preparedness. You will often not have cell service! Be smart! You cant reach out to Alex to for this conversation as well :)
In Missoula:
Hike the M on Mount Sentinel - steep hike with views of the entire city
Waterworks Hill - mild hike with views of the entire valley
Rattlesnake Area Trails - easy hiking trails in heavily wooded area of ponderosa pines.
Bitterroot Mountains (south of MSO)
Bear Creek Overlook
Glen Lake
Lake Como
Bass Lake
Blodgett Canyon (short and easy)
Condon Area (MUST BRING BEAR SPRAY):
Glacier Lake
Turquoise Lake
Holland Lake Falls and Upper Holland Lake
Glacier NP (bring bear spray):
Avalanche Lake - for beginners
Anything at Logan Pass
Iceberg Lake / Ptarmigan Tunnel
Grinnell Lake / Grinnell Glacier
Cracker Lake
Swiftcurrent Pass
Also, hire a local guide to float the river and fly-fish!
