Yes. Weather permitting, the music will be outside! We will pivot to the inside of the large barn on site if necessary. Both the barn and outside will be spaces we are using for the entirety of the celebration.
Whatever makes you the happiest! No, seriously. You will be outside in the fall. We suggest you don't wear heels or fancy shoes. Think "outdoor music fest in the fall." Maxi dresses with boots and blazers and jeans with no ties are as fancy we would recommend. This event is a marathon! Music starts at 4 pm and ends at 1 am. You want to be comfortable and dress appropriately for the weather(shedding or adding layers). Weather history 10/5/21: High:79 Low:61 no rain 10/5/22: High 76 Low: 51 no rain 10/5/23: High 79 Low: 63 no rain As you can see, it’s pretty gorgeous, lingering summer weather. Early fall is historically fantastic weather in Ohio! Of course we can’t predict the weather, so make sure you check that weather app. We will pivot to inside if it rains. BUT IT WON’T ;) We don’t expect people to dress in their Sunday best. There will be a mix of choices and that’s how we like it!
The short answer to this is: Yes. It can be somewhat limited in our smaller towns, but they are available. To and from airport (CMH): The airport is about a 25 min easy car ride to and from Granville, Ohio. Uber/lyft or take a concierge service. There are two local concierge services available in Granville: 1) https://granvilleconcierge.com 2) Jack Fleming. Text 310-210-5491 Here’s a fun article about his services: https://denisonian.com/2024/02/features/need-a-ride-uber-jack-shares-his-life-on-the-road/ Renting a car is also an option. We are providing a shuttle to and from the event venue on Saturday from Granville and cherry valley lodge. Parking is free and accessible in the area.
Yes. See “Shuttle schedule” tab for the final schedule. We are providing a shuttle to and from cherry valley hotel + downtown Granville pickup. There will be several different drop off times for the early birds, night owls, and in between! It's important to us that our guests SAFELY arrive and depart the Barn at Moots Run, so plan accordingly.
We love your children so much but this event is created for people 18+.
No problem! Arrive when you're able and leave when you need to. The celebration begins at 4 (live music, open bar, hors d’oeuvres); the ceremony is at 6; followed by dinner and our headlining band. No one is walking down the aisle, and the format of the night is very loose. This event is meant to feel like a big party with live music all night! Please refer to the schedule tap in the drop down menu.
While we wish we had unlimited room on our guest list, no plus-ones unless indicated on your invite.
Yes. Stay the whole time. The music lineup is bananas.
