It all started with a simple Instagram follow request from someone named Alex. I didn’t recognize him, but we had a few mutual friends—so I hit “confirm." Weeks passed, and then one day, he replied to one of my stories. That single message turned into a conversation…and that conversation never really ended! As we got to know each other more, it became clear this wasn't just coincidence—God was writing something special! When Alex mentioned wanting to come to Florida to meet me in person, I started praying more seriously about what this could be. When he finally made the trip, it went great—he met me, my family and friends, and even joined me for church. Then it was my turn. We planned a trip for me to visit North Carolina for Thanksgiving week. Flying across states to spend a holiday with his family sounds crazy—but I knew God was in it. And I wouldn’t change a thing because that trip changed everything for me. I got to see his heart more clearly, and I realized I didn’t just like Alex…I could truly see a future with him. Through every step, we continued to seek God's guidance, and he faithfully opened doors and gave us confirmation. In February 2025, during a trip to Florida with his parents, Alex asked me to be his girlfriend. With every visit, every prayer, and every moment shared, we knew this was it. And then, on July 5th, with a stunning summer sunset, Alex got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I said yes to forever!!
