Our story starts with Jasmine's mom—who met Alex not long after he moved to California. She decided she knew best, and gave Jasmine's number to Alex. Later that day he reached out to her & the first plans were made to meet up at Bootlegger's Brewery for trivia with his friends. And the rest, as they say, is history. Guess moms do know best.

The in-between was filled with many date nights ordering fettuccine alfredo (BOTH our favorite), Wednesday night trivia, bonding over our shared midwest-ness and taking advantage of everything California has to offer. Eventually, deciding to move in together — bringing Alex's cat, Myles, and Jasmine's dog, Jenna, under one roof creating a home & life together.

Alex set the tone for the perfect cozy night in at home with Jenna & Myles. The new Johnny Blue Skies record was playing while he cooked homemade fettuccine alfredo and grilled steak. The table was set, dinner was ready, wine poured, and that's when Alex popped the question. 'Course Jasmine said yes.
