We met in 2012 while working at Rich's Frozen Custard. We were just friends for a long time, but after many m&m fights and harmless pranks, we admitted we had feelings for each other.

After a few years, we called it quits at Rich's Frozen Custard. We both went to college in the St. Louis area. Alex graduated from Maryville University in 2017 with her Bachelor's in Nursing. Alex worked at St. Lukes Hospital as an ICU nurse for 3 years before starting Nurse Anesthesia school in 2020 at Webster University. Jake attended Southwestern Illinois College where he played soccer for two years. He then attended UMSL where he studied abroad multiple times. Jake graduated with a degree in education. Jake now works for Enterprise Holdings. We got engaged in 2019 during a family vacation in Hawaii. We bought a house at the end of 2019 and did some renovations. In early 2020, we brought home our baby girl German Shepard, Rajah. A few months into the pandemic, we decided to postpone our September 2020 wedding. In October of 2020, we took in our second little puppy, a Schnoodle named Millie. Our two puppies kept us very busy in 2020. We look forward to our future adventures!
