Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Dress code for Saturday is summer formal chic. For Ladies, think long dresses and suit or blazer and slacks for men. Please note that the welcome drinks, ceremony and reception will be held outside on the lawn, so choose your footwear accordingly.

Question

Your wedding is on Labor Day weekend, should we stay the whole weekend?

Answer

We are getting married on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend! Our weekend events will go from Friday evening to Sunday morning. Jack and Alex and their families will be in Kennebunkport through Labor Day Monday and will look to gather at the beach or The Colony pool for the day on Sunday and find a casual gathering spot (bar/restaurant) Sunday night for those still in the area. You absolutely do not have to stay until Monday but we will be around to spend time with those that do!

Question

Is there parking available for the weekend events?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for all events on Friday and Saturday. Details for the schedule will be shared as the date comes closer. While there is parking available for the welcome drinks, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the provided transportation for the wedding day. For those driving, the Park and Ride and Kenebunk is a great place to park and will be an included stop by our buses. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Question

Do I need a car?

Answer

No! Kennebunkport is a quaint and walkable town. There is sufficient lodging available in and around downtown making it easy to get around and explore. Transportation will be provided for all wedding events.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the busy nature of Kennebunkport in the summer, hotels in the area do not offer room blocks. We recommend securing housing early due to the busy season. There are plenty of hotels, inns and AirBNBs in the area and walkable to town and our transportation.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are not able to accommodate additional guests due to the intimate nature of our wedding and our venue capacity. If you are invited to bring a guest, it will be noted on the formal invitation. We thank you all for understanding!
