Can I take pictures and videos during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We'd love for you to be fully present with us during our ceremony, so we ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos. We have a team of professionals who will be capturing everything, and we will be happy to share all the photos and videos with you after the wedding! During the reception, please feel free to take pictures, but please be mindful of our professional team and avoid blocking their shots. **Note, we will be hiring content creators for our welcome party and the day of the wedding. While they'll mostly be like a fly on the wall, they may interact with some of you to get a few more candid shots. If you prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please let them know, and they will absolutely respect your wishes.

Can I bring my children?

To ensure everyone can celebrate without having to be mindful of little eyes and ears, our wedding will be an adults-only occasion.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are only allowed if explicitly stated on your invitation. To quickly check if you’ve been given a plus one, simply type your name into the ‘RSVP’ page on our website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request Black-Tie Optional attire. Tuxedos or dark suits are appropriate for men. Floor-length gowns are appropriate for women.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be necessary as all events are within The Willard or directly across the street from The Willard. The JW Marriott and Hotel Washington are located directly next door to The Willard. The Hilton Garden Inn DC is located three-four blocks from The Willard.
