What's the COVID situation?

Answer

Good question! Although we can't wait to celebrate with you, the health and safety of our loved ones is the most important thing. Our ceremony and reception will take place entirely outdoors, and we will continue to follow all recommended guidelines as well as common sense. We will be sure to update you all ASAP if there are any changes to the current plan!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The National Arboretum is easily accessible from downtown DC by taxi/Uber/Lyft and only about a 15 minute ride. Just be sure to use the 2400 R Street Northeast address for the Arboretum.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

See the schedule page for details, but we'll be having welcome drinks on Saturday the 4th, and an after-party following the reception on Sunday night.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation only has your name on it, we'd prefer if it was just you.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive no later than 5:00 P.M.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, your kids are welcome! But if you'd like a night off that's fine with us too and we are happy to connect you with a babysitter in the area.

Is this an outdoor wedding where I will ruin the heel of a stiletto?

Answer

Possibly! The ceremony and cocktail hour will involve walking on some limited amounts of grass, so if you want to keep your favorite shoes dirt free, stick to a chunkier heel.
