Our story begins when we met in the spring of 2019. Haley was finishing up her junior year at WVU, and Alex was completing his first year as an economics PhD student at WVU. As many modern love stories begin, we met through an app. We quickly caught each other's eyes and shared a common interest in music, history, hiking, antique shopping, charcuterie, and fitness. Some of our favorite memories together have been visiting historical sites like Harpers Ferry, Gettysburg, and Antietam, as well as antique stores and museums along the way. Not to mention the time we spent enjoying our local Renaissance festivals and Medieval Times. If you haven't figured it out yet, we share a love of history and fun. We are excited to bring our closest family and friends together to celebrate our wedding in a way that is special to us as a couple, and we look forward to the future ahead!

Celebrate our special day with us amidst the fantasy of bygone days & knights! Renaissance fairs are the epitome of whimsy, merriment, and creativity. That's why we are so pleased to welcome our friends and family to Pennsylvania’s best Renaissance fair! The location comes with a few perks: 1. As guests of the wedding, you can attend the fair free of cost before the 4 PM ceremony (tickets will be delivered digitally upon RSVP). 2. During the wedding reception, royal entertainers will join in the celebration. 3. A dress code like no other wedding! Guests are encouraged to partake in the costume merriment.
