FAQs

Question

Will there be transportation provided to the venue?

Answer

There will be a bus going between the Carson Valley Inn and Gansberg Ranch. The journey is less than 10 minutes. The bus will do 2 trips prior to the ceremony, the first trip will depart from CVI at 2:10 pm and the second trip will depart from CVI at 2:45 pm. The bar at the venue will be open before the ceremony! The bus will be back at the wedding venue after 8 pm and is available for return trips to anyone after that time. If you decide to drive but need to take the bus back after the wedding that is no problem! Vehicles just need to be retrieved from the venue by 10 AM the following morning.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal / Dressy casual. Nice jeans, cowboy boots, and sundresses are ok!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Highs might be in mid 80’s, lows might be in the mid 40’s. Keep an eye on the weather in Gardnerville NV while you’re packing since that time of year can be unpredictable, be prepared for chilly evenings!

Question

Parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue has plenty of space for everyone’s cars, and cars can be left overnight as long as they are picked up by 10 am the following morning. We will also be arranging a shuttle to and from the Carson Valley Inn!

Question

Are children and plus-ones invited?

Answer

As much as we love children, unfortunately children will not be invited due to the venue being a working ranch. We hope you can use this celebration as a fun date night away from the kids! As for plus-ones, your invite will clearly designate if you can bring a guest. We have a limited guest count and we appreciate your understanding!

Question

What are the accommodations?

Answer

We have a discount code at the Carson Valley Inn in Gardnerville and will be arranging a shuttle from the wedding at that location, but you are not required to stay there! There are several other hotel options in Garnderville, and even more in Carson City and Reno if you are ok with a bit of a drive.
