Men can wear a tuxedo, but they don't have to—a dark suit and tie are also appropriate. Dress shoes fit the bill when it comes to footwear. Formal dresses to wear to a wedding include both evening gowns and elegant cocktail dresses, so pick the hemline you feel best in.
New York City recently mandated that individuals wishing to access many indoor facilities, including restaurants, bars and fitness facilities, must provide proof of a Covid-19 vaccination. As the NYAC City House facilities are licensed to operate by the City of New York, NYAC is obligated to comply with this directive. Please be advised, therefore, that NYAC is planning to ask all members, guests, staff and vendors who enter the City House, and who are aged 12 or older, to provide proof of a completed Covid-19 vaccination. Proof of vaccination will be accepted in the City House at the Front Desk and in the Membership Services Office for NYAC members. Additional details regarding this new initiative will be forthcoming as NYAC receives further guidance from the City.
If you do choose to stay at the New York Athletic Club there is a Dress Code: "Professional/ Corporate or Evening Wear" at all times. Jeans are not permitted. Please click here for more information https://www.nyac.org/dress-code
