Read Me Before You Book!

The Carmel and Monterey area is a popular travel destination, especially this time of year. We recommend booking flights and accommodations early, as hotels tend to fill quickly. The Carmel and Monterey area has limited public transportation, so we recommend renting a car for the weekend to make getting around easier. Ride share services like Uber are available within Carmel and Monterey; however, they are not permitted to access the wedding venue, as it is located within a gated community. Guests will have the option to drive to the venue or take a shuttle service that we will be providing.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

A major international airport with the most flights and connections, and often more flexible pricing. The drive to the venue is approximately 2 hours and can be up to 4 hours at peak traffic times, but its proximity to San Francisco is perfect if you’re planning to turn the trip into a longer coastal getaway.

San Jose Mineta International Airport

A great middle-of-the-road option, centrally located between San Francisco and Carmel. The drive to the venue is approximately 1.5 hours, with extra time during busier travel periods, and this medium-sized airport has a good mix of flight options and fewer crowds than SFO.

Monterey Regional Airport (MRY)

The closest and most convenient option, just an 8-minute drive from the venue. Monterey offers direct flights from Dallas/Fort Worth and Denver, with seasonal nonstop service from Minneapolis and Chicago during select times of the year.

A budget-friendly option just 20 minutes from the venue. Located in Marina, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Marina State Beach.
