Goda and Alex first met at Sluggers, a popular bar in the Wrigley neighborhood of Chicago, on Halloween weekend in 2019. Goda and her girlfriends wore eerie Purge masks, while Alex stood out as the iconic “Double Doink” from the Eagles vs. Bears playoff game. It was a rainy night, and if not for his best friend’s nagging, Alex would have stayed home, missing the chance to meet his future wife. But fate had other plans.
