We are so happy you are able to drop in for a bite and a hello! The Carnegie is conveniently located within walking distance of the Windsor (about 2 minutes) and several downtown restaurants. We recommend The Station, Rosemary and Thyme, and Floyds Pub for dinner, but there are several other great options as well!
The trolley (holds up to 34 people) will make 3 pickups on Saturday afternoon starting at approximately 3:55, 4:20, and 4:45. We invite you to enjoy a glass of champagne and enjoy the heaters if you arrive early! The trolley will begin making shuttles back to the hotel around 8:00pm and continue until the end of the reception.
Wolf Creek Plantation is a beautiful venue that has a covered outdoor ceremony site that is attached to the indoor reception area. We will have a short cocktail hour on the other side of the venue that is covered outdoors (heaters will be up and running). The rest of our evening will be enjoyed indoors! We appreciate you braving the cold to be there for our special day!
Yes! Also, if overnight parking is needed to provide you get back to your accommodations safely, please feel free to leave your vehicle until as late as 9:00am on Sunday!
The ceremony will start at 5:00pm (as soon as the last shuttle arrives) and will be followed immediately on the other covered side of the venue by a cocktail hour!
South Georgia winters are unpredictable, so bring a layer in case we are having a chilly day!
We LOVE your kids, but to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves as well as venue capacity limitations, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding!
