Gabrielle, born a Houston native, is the most loving and convivial person you will ever meet. At TCU, she was heavily involved in her sorority, Theta, as well as campus outreach through her work as Frog Camp Director. Her smile is infectious and can light up the room. She loves her family dearly and is prideful of her Vietnamese culture. Gabby finds perfect compatibility with Alex, kindled from many shared traits, hobbies, and importantly, tastes in food. She finds enjoyment in yoga, climbing, coffee. A natural caretaker, she is a dedicated house-plant owner, and incredible dog-mom to Murdock. As an open, honest, and welcoming person, Gabby has cultivated strong friendships and connections to last a lifetime.

Alex was born in Columbus, Ohio. Shortly after, his family moved to Chicago, Illinois and then Southlake, Texas where they settled down. Alex works as the Debt and Compliance Manager at the City of Fort Worth. His most notable trait is his heart of gold. He likes to tell people that he and Gabby met on a yoga mat. In fact, they did, and he fell in love with the cute Asian climber at the gym very fast. Their first date was dinner and a drive-in movie on May 21, 2019. Alex Laufer is a charming, goofy, and sweet southern man. Adored by his fiancé, family, and friends.
Jolie Nguyen

Jolie came into Gabby's life in 1999. As Gabby's younger sister, she has been an active spectator of every stage of Gabby's life. Jolie is pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at the University of Houston and her unofficial Minor in Comedic Relief. Being the funnier sister was a tough job for Jolie, but someone had to do it. When Alex was introduced to the family, Jolie did not have high hopes, initially. However, he soon proved her wrong. His taste in music, his love for family, and his precious dog, Murdock, allowed Jolie to see what a perfect addition he was into the family. She can't wait to finally call him her brother.

Leeds and Alex first met in 6th grade, united by a common purpose - cheating on grammar tests. And while there grammar isn't any better, they're friendship sure is stronger. From rock climbing and Halo to concerts and Dallas adventures, Alex is Leeds's oldest and best friend. When Alex first mentioned this cute climber girl that he started dating, Leeds could see that Alex was totally enamored. Gabby is the first girl that Alex can truly be himself around and Leeds couldn't be happier that she is not only in Alex's life, but has also become one of Leeds's friends too!

In a family of 50+ cousins, Anne and Gabby have been inseparable since birth - partially due to them being 6 months apart. Anne works as a traveling nurse and is currently stationed in San Francisco. She is funny, sarcastic, and quirky. Fun fact: Gabby and Anne had to earn their right to sleepover at each other's houses when they were young. To "earn their right", they had to learn to cry on demand. #childhoodtrauma. In all seriousness, Anne is a huge fan of Gabby and Alex together. She loves spending time with the soon-to-be-newlyweds. They are the only couple she would drive 4 hours to see, even after a 12 hour shift. She loves them!

Alex met David through mutual friends at a Texas Rangers game one summer night, back when the Rangers played baseball in a somewhat non-embarrassing fashion. They quickly became good friends despite not seeing one another very often, connecting instantly over their shared love for music, snowboarding, and Alex's dog, Murdock. When Murdock and Alex mentioned that someone new and different had entered the picture, David knew there was only one true test... could she recite the words of the TCU Fight Song? (It's okay, no one can). Jokes aside, when David met Gabby at the best wing spot in Ft. Worth, he could instantly see she was a special person, with a rich fabric of people she loves and who love her - she just cares, and you can really tell. Cheers, Alex and Gabby!

As one of the older cousins, Christine has acted as a symbolic older sister for Gabby throughout her life and still serves that role very well. Even when it came to college, Christine was the first in the family to go to TCU which paved the way for Gabby as well. Christine is loving, funny, and has been a pivotal role model in moments of Gabby’s life. Now that Alex is a part of that life, there’s no doubt that that role will continue for the both of them.
Nick Laufer

As Alex's older brother, Nick paved the way for Alex in many aspects of life. When Nick picked up the trombone, Alex did as well. When Nick started working on lawns for extra cash, Alex tagged along as well. Some say that the path was already carved for Alex because of Nick's dedication to everything he did. But in all seriousness, Nick has been a caring and loving brother in Alex's life. A testament to hard work and pursuing one's passions.
Libby Fuller

While Gabby was attending college at TCU, she became a regular at a coffee shop Libby worked at. As time went by, they grew closer and closer - sharing a love for coffee, yoga and rock climbing. In 2019, Libby moved to Australia just months before Gabby met Alex. Through many FaceTime calls and texts, Gabby would tell Libby all about this amazing guy she was dating and their early dating stories. So when Libby arrived back in the states, she couldn't wait to meet the "guy" she'd heard stories of. Instantly after meeting Alex, Libby knew he was the one for Gabby. From that point on, the three of them became best friends. Libby is particularly proud of being the couple's most frequent third wheel and even has a group text called "Libby in the Middle" with them.

Logan and Alex met by a true fate of destiny. They were inseparable best friends within 5 minutes of meeting each other for the first time while saving lives in the water as top notch life guards. From spending countless sleepless nights studying for exams in their secret rooms on campus to cooking and killing several cold ones along the way, they formed a bond that will exist till the end of days. When told of Gabby and her splendor, Logan was thrilled to see Alex find such a fire inside him and a love unrivaled.
