FAQs

If you have any other questions, please reach out to the bride or groom to be.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All rsvps are required by July 19th, 2026. If you don't rsvp, we will assume you are not attending.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would enjoy if all our family and friends could dress up with us. Please dress in semi-formal attire. Please dress in fall/summer colors including but not limited to burgundy, red, orange, yellow, brown, black, and green. Be aware that the ceremony is outdoors and the reception won't entirely be temperature controlled. Examples: sundresses, floral dresses, Khaki pants, polo shirts, dress shirts and pants.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking will be located on site. Separate parking for those who require handicap assistance.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are no hotels within close proximity to the venue. Hotels can be found in Tiffin, Fremont, or Fostoria within 30 minutes of the venue. No shuttle service will be provided. Plan accordingly if you will be drinking.

Question

Can I bring additional family or friends not listed on the invitation?

Answer

While we do love having additional family and friends there is limited space. The invitations are addressed to those who are accounted for. Invitations will be addressed to Mr., Mrs., and family if kids are invited. Those with plus ones are included on the invitation as well.

Question

Can I bring a Guest? or Are children allowed?

Answer

The invitations are addressed to whomever is invited. If you were given the option of a plus one, it will read "Your name and Guest". If your children are invited it will read "Your name and Family". If you decide to bring your children with you, they must be supervised at all times. Making sure they are not destroying or harming any of the grounds the owners are so graciously letting us use.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan on arriving by 4:15 pm for the ceremony. It will help us ensure everyone is present without any distractions from the celebration.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that you silence and put all devices away for the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture this moment and would like to reduce any extra editing she may have to do. You are welcome to take photos during the rest of the celebration. Make sure to use #BarntobeaDistel when posting so we may also see your photos.
