Allegiant

We like to fly with Allegiant since they have affordable and direct flights from Des Moines to Sarasota. Flights are typically on Thursday and Sunday starting in October. For family and friends outside of Iowa, we would recommend checking out Allegiant's site. We would imagine they are the best rate you will find out of your local airport as well.

Hotel

Lido Beach Resort

This is the resort we stayed at during our first vacation together. We absolutely loved staying here for the easy beach access and the resort tiki bar. We highly recommend you book as soon as possible for the best rate. This resort is located on Lido Key (the same key as our venue).

AirBnB

There are many wonderful AirBnB options in Sarasota and the surrounding areas. We stayed in a condo on Siesta Key on our most recent trip to Sarasota. The condo was minutes from the beach and very affordable.

Hotel

Embassy Suites

Conveniently located near the water in downtown Sarasota, the Embassy Suites is a short drive from the bridge that connects the mainland to Lido Key (where our venue is located). This hotel is one of the closer mainland options to the venue.

Vacation Rentals

There are several vacation rental options but they often have a weeklong stay requirement. This could be a good option for guests who plan on spending additional time in Florida. One of many vacation rental websites is linked below.
