One Saturday in June, Gavin suggested grabbing sandwiches from one of their favorite spots, Garnett’s, and having a picnic at a nearby park with their 3 month puppy, Frank. Riley was a little skeptical since it was nearly 100 degrees out, but she went with it! They spread out a blanket, opened a bottle of wine, and sat down to eat. A minute later, Gavin got down on one knee with Frank in one hand and a diamond ring in the other. While Gavin was saying the sweetest words Riley had ever heard, Frank had his eyes on a different kind of prize: the sandwiches. Just as Gavin said, “Will you marry me?” and Riley said, “YES!” Frank triumphantly snatched a full piece of cheese. It was a win for everyone. Riley got the ring, Gavin got the girl, and Frank got lunch!
