Traveling to Lake Como ✈️
Airport: The nearest airport to Lake Como and downtown Como is Milan Malpensa. From the airport there are several options. 1. Train: From Malpensa Airport you can get the Malpensa Express train to Saronno and then take a train from Saronno to Como Nord Lago. Train journey time about 1 hour and 20 minutes. You can book on www.thetrainline.com). Taxi service should be available at the train station in Como to get you to your hotel. 2. Private Car/ Shuttle: Please contact Lake Como Transfers for private car or shuttle service. They do airport transfers only, not local service. Email: lakecomotransfer@gmail.com Phone +39 349 3431906 call, text or use WhatsApp www.lakecomotransfers.com *Your hotel may have shuttle service from the airport to Como that you can book with them directly. Travel Tip: Shuttles/taxis from the airport may require cash payment so we recommend getting cash out at an ATM in advance. 3. Rental car: Many options to select at the airport, book in advance as they can run out during summer. If you decide to get a rental car, please make sure that your hotel or VRBO has available parking. Please note that you may not drive your rental car to the wedding location, Villa Pizzo. We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue. *Please note: Americans visiting Italy that intend to drive MUST obtain an international driving permit before leaving the United States. *Before you book a rental car, make sure your hotel/accommodations has parking available. HOW TO GET AROUND COMO AREA/LAKE There is NO UBER in Como. Taxi services are available but limited and expensive. You will need to call or email a taxi service to get a cab. The Villa Flori will be the location of the Welcome Cocktail Party and Arrivederci Brunch. This is also where Greg and Shannon are staying throughout the weekend.

We recommend looking at AirBnb, Vrbo, or other hotels within the city of Como. Please note there is NO UBER in Como or surrounding towns, so we recommend staying in downtown Como or near one of the other hotels listed on this page.
